Jesse Lingard's clothing brand 'JLingz' has reported loss of more than £200,000 in its first year.

The unaudited accounts lodged with Companies House show that from 12 months until January 31 this year, the company made a loss of £211,688. 

However, the brand only sold products in the second half of the year detailed in the accounts.

The company was incorporated in January 2018 and Lingard is listed as one of three directors.


When Lingard launched the range in summer 2018, he was roundly criticised for not focusing completely on his football.

The England winger held a star-studded launch party just days before Manchester United hosted Liverpool last December, which proved to be the last game of Jose Mourinho's reign after defeat. 

the event was attended by a host of team-mate from England and Manchester United, including Raheem Sterling, Marcus Rashford, Paul Pogba and Luke Shaw.

Within the JLingz label, hoodies start at £45, while it is £70 for a quilted jacket and T-shirts will set you back around £30.

There are also various accessories like trucker hats, beanie hats and socks.

Lingard also has his own scent, as well as a variety of merchandise including mobile phone cases.
