LSU at 14-1 odds to win college football national championship in 2024

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The upcoming college football season will look like no other. In 2024, the college football playoffs expand to 12 schools.
The 1-4 seeds receive byes in the first round, and 5-12 play first round games.
When the dust settles, Georgia (+325) is the favorite to win the crown. That’s according to odds supplied by Caesars Sportsbook. The Bulldogs return quarterback Carson Beck.
LSU currently sits at 14-1 (+1400) odds to win it all. The presumptive starter for the Tigers at quarterback is Garrett Nussmeier. Seven schools are ahead of the Tigers: Georgia, Ohio State (+700). Alabama (+800), Texas (+800), Michigan (+1000), Oregon +1000), Ole Miss (+1400).
Sugar Bowl winners, Washington, are in the middle of the pack at (+6000).
Tulane is a longshot to grab the trophy at 250-1 (+25000).
The 2024 title game will take place in Atlanta, GA.
